VIB Conference "Tumor Heterogeneity, Plasticity and Therapy"
(2nd edition)
The second edition of the VIB Conference 'Tumor Heterogeneity, Plasticity and Therapy'
This conference will bring together a range of world leaders, both from academia and the industry, to discuss the latest developments in basic research, translational and clinical research, as well as therapeutic avenues, all focused on tumors.
Why? Because tumors are complex and evolving ecosystems composed of cancer cells that interact with a wide variety of other cell types. The bi-directional interplay between tumor cells and their tumor microenvironment shapes tumor evolution and therapy resistance. Similarly, tumor heterogeneity - the existence of many cancer cells that differ from each other - also represents a hurdle for therapy. Studying and understanding this complex microenvironment is thus key to cancer therapy and developing targeted therapies and immunotherapies.
Curious to find out how single-cell manipulation and analysis using FluidFM technology can help us understand tumor heterogeneity or enable drug development?
FluidFM enables collection of biopsies from single cells, helping us understand disease heterogeneity or cell molecular state before and after drug exposure.
Meet us at the VIB Conference to find out more!
